RADIANCE

Hebrews 1:3 NIV

And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power. When He had made purification of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.

JESUS is the exact representation of God's nature and is the radiance of His Father's glory, which means He does not merely reflect Him as the moon reflects the sun, but He is the brilliance of God's character and glory.

Brilliance means intense brightness of light. Therefore, when we have seen Jesus, we have seen God and when we know Jesus, we know God, the Father.

In John 14:5-9, Jesus was trying to help His disciples understand the fact, that He was exactly like His Father. He said: "All this time you have been with me. You have seen how I react and what I have done and taught. This is exactly what I saw my Father doing. My Father and I are ONE."

Jesus prayed that we would be One with Him and the Father. Consequently we are displaying God's glory on this earth. Walk in God's brilliance and become radiant with God's glory.

Matthew 13:43 "Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He, who has ears to hear, let him hear. )

Isaiah 60 Amp. 5 Then you shall see and be radiant, and your heart shall thrill and tremble with joy (at the glorious deliverance) and be enlarged; because the abundant wealth of the (Dead Sea) shall be turned to you, unto you shall the nations come with their measure.

The Hebrew word for glory is "kabad", and it is defined as abundance, honor, glory, riches, wealth and splendor. (see Strong's Concordance)

POINTING TO JESUS CHRIST

Years ago, in a vision, I was standing on a mountain watching people beneath roaming to and fro. They were very busy. I was trying to get their attention, but they just kept going. What I witnessed was much like an ant hill with all its busyness.

Then suddenly a calamity occurred and everyone stood still, not knowing what to do. They were helpless and I was trying to get their attention again, because I had the answer. Finally they looked up and started to come towards me. At this point, all I had to do was to point them to Jesus Christ and watch miracles unfold!

Are you someone, who points to Jesus Christ and the One, who carries the radiance of the Father?
