His glorious RESURRECTION power

DON'T YOU LOVE THE SIGNS THE FATHER GIVES US ALONG OUR WAY?

I am remembering when I walked through the woods at Fort Caroline, where my ancestors, the Huguenots, came to the shores of now NE Florida to declare that everything in this place should be done for the glory of God. This was in 1564, which was a long time past. As I prayed and asked the Lord for some answers to some pretty difficult question and circumstances, I sensed I needed to stop at a marker. On this marker a fern, growing in this part of the woods, was described. The marked explained that this kind of fern curls in when there is not enough water, and it "resurrects" when enough water comes. Hence this fern is called the "RESURRECTION" fern!!!

Further down the path, I sensed to stop and look at another marker. Here a vine was explained. The marker explains that Spanish missionaries discovered, when cutting the vine horizontally, it looks like a CROSS. Creation does speak of the eternal power and divine nature of the Lord.

Jesus' physical body died on the cross, but His Spirit lived on. It was only His body that needed resurrection.

So we do not lose heart. Even so our bodies, our earth suits, as I like to call it, are wasting away, yet the inner man is being renewed daily. Our light afflictions, the trial and tribulations we encounter, and mind you they are only for a very short time, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory. We don't look at the things we can see, since they are only temporary, but at the things we can not see, which are eternal. (see 2 Corinthians 4:16-18)

OUR HEAVENLY DWELLING

2 Corinthians 5:1-8

For we know that if the tent that is our earthly home is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.2 For in this tent we groan, longing to put on our heavenly dwelling,3 if indeed by putting it on we may not be found naked. 4 For while we are still in this tent, we groan, being burdened—not that we would be unclothed, but that we would be further clothed, so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life. 5 He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who has given us the Spirit as a guarantee.

We have been given the Holy Spirit as a guarantee and we can walk by faith and not by sight. Again looking into the unseen realm, the heavenly realm, opened up to us. Eyes wide open, eyes illuminated to see heavenly things and kingdom of God manifestations. We are also confident and assured that wen we are leaving this earth, we are immediately present with the Lord and that our earth suit, just as Jesus' body, will be eventually resurrected.

(see Romans 8, 2 Corinthians 4:16-18, 5:1-8)

LET'S BE DRENCHED IN THE DEW OF HEAVEN

Now remember the fern curling in when there was not enough rain? However, "resurrected" when rain came? Let's be drenched in the dew of heaven, let's be saturated with the rain of the Holy Spirit allowing the refreshing to take place.

JESUS GIVES US HIS WATER, SO WE THIRST NO MORE, AND OUT OF OUR INNER MOST BEING SHALL FLOW RIVERS OF LIVING WATERS...
